What is the difference between web site design and web site maintenance?

Web site design is the initial development of the site prior to launching or going live. Web site maintenance is the updating and changing of content, or simple graphics, on the site. Minimal changes to a website are sometimes done without charge. For example, if you change your address and phone number and it takes me two minutes to update it-- you probably won't be charged. For anything more involved than that-- an hourly fee will apply.

How should I prepare my content for the web site?

First, content refers to any and all text you want on the site. It also refers to any specific images you want featured on the site (for ex: if you sell shoes, we would need pictures of the shoes).

Second, it would be best to collect as much content information on your end before the design process starts. This gives the process a head start as to the amount of pages that the site will need. In addition, the content (and the amount of content) you provide may affect design considerations. Therefore it would be preferable if you could provide all content prior to beginning work.

We suggest that you send us the information in some common digital format (i.e. Word Document, JPEGS for photos, etc.). If you have a lot of content, you should label for each page of your site. For example: "HOME <content>, OUR PRODUCTS <content>, OUR SERVICES <content>" and so on.
